Makin in Canada

Organist Harrison Cole from King's College Cambridge did the first recital on the new Makin Thirlmere at St  Paul's Anglican Church in Nanaimo, British Columbia. It was wildly successful...the church was completely sold out of tickets. It received nearly 40 5-star reviews from users of the ticket agency's website.

Harrison's repertoire for the recital did a complete demonstration of all of the organ's stops through careful selection of both repertoire and registration...and he did it exceptionally well! At the end of the recital he led the church in singing Jerusalem, and following that the audience not only clapped quite loudly but there were also a round of loud cheers...and this was an organ recital!!! 

My vision for Makin in British Columbia is coming to reality.
